A CAMPAIGN COLONIAL MARBLE TOP MAHOGANY TABLE (18505)
Colonial India, 19th century
A campaign colonial mahogany table with a replaced Italian marble top. There are two hidden drawers on the short sides of the table without any hardware. The four beautifully carved and turned feet unscrew at the base of the ribbing detail to create two heights for the table. The wood is all hand worked with rich patina to the the body. (Contemporary Italian marble and new polish)
